KAYLAR'S CHRISTMAS ANGEL

daughter to Ch Kaylar's Showme One More Time, my first search dog, great grandmother to Phoenix, probably my best search dog....Angel did a trail one summer day some years ago that wound all the way across the busy campus of Grinnell College while it was in full swing...for a demo for a pre-school, and I had NO IDEA of where the child and her teacher had gone to...Angel didn't let me down, she took me to them....

Another time Angel and I were on a call out and had to "walk a plank" at least 18 feet long and only about 10 inches wide to get loaded into a boat, the plank was balanced on the shore at one end at least 8 feet above the river's edge, and balanced on the other end in the boat...she went ahead of me without a moment's hesitation.....

Angel has left me now....her body and her bones gave out and it was time to take her for her last walk, which ended at the Rainbow Bridge, on March 13, 2007. She lived a good long life...(born on Dec 13 1993)...fourteen and a half years old.

What can I say?..... There is no dog that will live in my heart in quite the same way that Angel always will...
